Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Mapino, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mapino. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or use a username that impersonates another person.

You retain ownership of the content you create in Mapino, including pins, photos, videos, voice memos, and notes. By posting content, you grant Mapino a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You must not post content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

Pins you mark as public are visible to all Mapino users. Pins marked as private are visible only to you. You may change a pin's visibility or delete it at any time. We are not responsible for content that has already been seen or shared by others before you make it private or delete it.

You agree not to: • Use Mapino for any unlawful purpose • Harass, threaten, or harm other users • Post spam, misinformation, or deceptive content • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the app without permission • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

Mapino and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mapino and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our app or its content without our prior written consent.

Mapino offers in-app purchases including pin credits and subscriptions. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.

Mapino integrates with third-party services including Spotify. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use is harmful to other users or to the service.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

Mapino is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mapino and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
