When you use the app, we may automatically collect location data to place pins on the map, device identifiers, and usage information.

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, maintain, and improve Mapino • Enable you to create and share pins • Show you content from people you follow • Send notifications about activity on your pins • Ensure the safety and security of our services

Pins you mark as public are visible to other users on the map and explore feed. Pins marked as private are only visible to you.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the app (such as cloud storage and authentication providers), subject to confidentiality obligations.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Media files (photos, videos, voice memos) are stored in secure cloud storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

Mapino uses your device location to place pins and show nearby content. Location access is requested only when you use the app and can be revoked at any time through your device settings. We do not store your real-time location — only the coordinates you choose when creating a pin.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time. You can remove public pins or make them private. You can update or delete your profile information in Settings.
